  • Lowes misrepresents their rebate programs

    We purchased a 4 appliance set for a kitchen remodel comprised of a new fridge, micro, stove and dishwasher. We compared pricing between Lowes and Home Depot on LG appliances. Home Depot had a little advantage on pricing but we chose Lowes based on a rebate offer for a four piece set. All of the appliances were special ordered at the Strongsville, OH store and were told that these items qualified for the rebate.   • Appalling

    We had laminate flooring put down throughout our house 2 years ago and the nightmare still continues. For 1.5 years they came out monthly to re-glue the floors because the boards shifted and left big gaps. Then we agreed to pay more to get tile put down in the whole house. A few months ago we noticed the grout coming out. The installer showed up the morning to remove the old grout and replace it but can do nothing because stuff needs to be packed up and moved.     It's a no wonder that Lowes home-improvement in Longmont Colorado has an empty parking lot. After spending a few hours shopping and gathering the materials I need for an indoor job I find myself waiting in line. Then another line opens up and the person behind me cut makes their way through there just to be in front of me.   • How Lowes scams you into their credit card

    we were in Lowes in Nanaimo b.c. a couple of weeks ago and saw some flooring we liked. We were told we could get 5% off with a Lowes "business account". Being in business myself, I know what a business account is, so I applied. I only found out half an hour later in the process in talking to their credit firm on the phone in the store that it was in fact a credit card, which I most certainly did not want or need.   • Do Not Order LOWE'S

    I advised a friend to order a Dryer On-Line from LOWES, what a disaster!!! The Northeast Philadelphia store's driver never called to set up the apt (like it says they will when you place the order). Never delivered the Dryer, Charged his Credit Card, Lowes said they delivered the Dryer, After a month, Lowes NE Phila said their driver signed the Customer name which was why they did not refund the money.   • Lowes horrible service

    What ever you do don't buy an appliance from Lowes. They will not call you, e-mail you or keep you informed at all. I ordered a stove from them and they took my money right away. After more than a moth of me calling them (they never once contacted me) I had to go to the store to get it because they kept saying they would deliver it but didn't. Then they promised to pick up my old appliance ( I paid for the disposal and pickup) but they wouldn't even do that. I ended up taking it to the landfill myself.   • unfulfilled delivery promise

    I'd give them zero if I could. Bought a washer during black friday sale. Website told me it would be available on the 11th of December. Scheduled a delivery. On the 10th they call and tell me my item is in the delivery truck, will be unloaded by the 13th and when do I want it delivered. Scheduled a delivery for Thursday. Then thursday comes and goes not a single phone call to tell me what is going on.     I purchased a kitchen window MARCH 30, 2016. from Lowes in Washington DC. Lowes delivered a glass which the " Lowes installers" said was not acceptable. I contacted the store AGAIN and AGAIN .     I have just got my Lowes Credit Card .   • Faulty Dishwasher

    I purchased several new appliances from the Lowes Monkey Junction Store in Wilmington NC about 1-1/2 years ago. I had problems with most of the appliances but they were taken care of to my satisfaction. (dented scratched) The dishwasher however has never worked since day 1. It gets a drain plugged error and stops halfway through the cycle since this house is only used on weekends we found mold growing on the dishes when we returned.     On July 23, 2015, we hired someone from your team - North Raleigh store -to install a fence. We agreed to get it down in about 10 days. We paid the full amount upfront (not a smart thing to have done) but wanted it done ASAP.     I shop at the Lowes in Hobbs,NM 3202, and I just want to say that everytime I go in there Daisy the Garden manager is always very helpful. Yesterday it might of been the hottest day yet and I went in to buy mulch and a few stones. She was out there in the garden with her face red from the heat but she did not loose the great smile that she has.   • warranty complaint

    I bought a kobalt cordless drill from lowes hardware that said on the box 5yr hassle free warranty. a year and a half later the chuck is broken and I take it back to the store to be told that I will have to contact Kobalt, I can only bring it back to lowes if it breaks the first 3 months because I didn't buy a replacement policy on a hassle free warranty.     Only the second time I've been in the store and the second time I've tried to check out with merchandise clearly marked price and cashiers refused to sell the item for what it is clearly marked as I'm not an idiot I can read second time the same thing has happened!     I purchased a garage door(under the PELLA name) It is actually made by AMARR Company. When I ordered( the door which is 16X7 double door I let the employee at Lowes that I needed it rather soon as my wife drove the our current one he said that shouldn't be a problem seeing how there supplier warehouse was only a mile away.     We purchased the carpet in November of 2012. We paid $3000 to have the master bedroom and family room carpeted.
