Faulty Dishwasher - SAMSUNG DISHWASHER
I purchased several new appliances from the Lowes Monkey Junction Store in Wilmington NC about 1-1/2 years ago. I had problems with most of the appliances but they were taken care of to my satisfaction. (dented scratched) The dishwasher however has never worked since day 1. It gets a drain plugged error and stops halfway through the cycle since this house is only used on weekends we found mold growing on the dishes when we returned. Over 1 dozen services calls were placed in the first 12 months with the same result (we were told by the service company that they would not take more than 1 service call per month and that we had to wait). The appliance not being fixed. The repair person checks drains hoses and says everything looks good even once stating that "dishwashers do not dry the dishes" which is why we have mold. In fact we are not sure he even turned the unit on to check it. The service company (Lowes Service Advantage) provides extended warantee for Lowes appliances said they will not respond to any more service calls as they cannot fix the problem. By the way my extended warantee states that if they cannot fix it they will replace it... Buyer beware here its a scam! The Store manager was basically useless citing he would look into the problem and get back to us with a course of action. I am guessing it would have been easier to contact us if he wrote our name down. Now nearly 1-1/2 years later I still do not have a working product and am disappointed at the time and inconvenience this has placed on my family who have to drive 2-1/2 hours each way to be there for the service call. By my estimates that's about $2200 in mileage expense to cover a $600 appliance, I guess I'm the fool....
